Liberty Steel & Wire’s request for a $2.65 million loan from Peoria County is on hold, possibly until next year.

Members of the Peoria County Board are expected to vote this week on a $2.65 million loan that could lead to Liberty Steel & Wire relocating its company headquarters to Bartonville from Texas.
