The next governor and lieutenant governor of Illinois visited the Quad Cities Monday afternoon. For J.B. Pritzker and Juliana Stratton it was the final day of a statewide thank you tour following their win in the November election. Herb Trix reports.Radio story
Pritzker thanked the roomful of happy democrats in Rock Island for making his victory over Bruce Rauner possible. And for winning races no one expected.
"What you did to deliver this win, not just for us, but for democrats up and down the state of Illinois, for our statewide officers and democrats coming together, working together to do so much for this state."

He said democrats won in parts of the state where they hadn't won in a long time - DuPage and Kane counties in the Chicago area, and Peoria and Champaign counties, downstate.
And Pritzker repeated several of his promises from the campaign - raise the minimum wage, expand access to health care, and make college more affordable.
Pritzker and Stratton began their three-day thank your tour on Saturday, and made ten stops across the state.
