Illinois Tollway Seeks Student Cover Art

Creative Commons

DOWNERS GROVE - The Illinois Tollway invites high school students to compete for the chance to have their art appear on the cover of the 2019 Tollway map.

The Tollway's contest partners are Blick Art Materials and MB Real Estate.

The theme for the 2019 contest is the importance of diversity and inclusion. Entries should reflect a diversity theme.

Tollway officials say areas of artists' focus may include diversity of Tollway employees and affiliated businesses, of customers and communities the Tollway serves, or of the construction trades.

Artwork may be submitted from Sept. 14 to Oct. 12.

The grand prize winner receives a $400 gift certificate from Blick Art Materials and a $200 certificate from MB Real Estate for use at Tollway oases. Runners-up get $200 Blick and $100 MB Real Estate certificates.
