Anticipated Meeting Held Between Rauner, Legislative Leaders

A much-anticipated meeting among Governor Bruce Rauner and Illinois' four legislative leaders was held Tuesday.  It was the first time the entire group had gathered during Illinois' budget impasse --- which has entered its sixth month.  They talked behind closed doors for about an hour.

Republican House Leader Jim Durkin said little was accomplished.

"I think the governor's very clear about what he's looking for. Nothing's changed. And that's not going to change either."

The gathering may have accomplished one thing --- the leaders say they've agreed to keep talking.  Another meeting could come as early as next week.
