MOLINE, Ill. (AP) - Archival records from the city of Moline show that problems with parking go back to the early 1900s, when people complained about where riders parked their horses. In the 1920s, residents worried about streetcar safety.

It's the sort of history that will be available online to researchers and trivia buffs as the northwestern Illinois city continues to upload its trove of City Council minutes.

Moline City Clerk Tracy Koranda says there are now minutes accessible online going back to 1926. The plan is to archive more records, including handwritten minutes from 1857 to 1917.

Summer interns helped with the project of building the digital archive.
