Police investigate Chicago cop's Ferguson shooting comment

The Chicago Police Department is investigating an incident in which a white officer tells a man shooting a video that Michael Brown "deserved" to be shot last year in Ferguson, Missouri.

In the video, during an apparent argument, the unidentified man shooting the video mentions Brown's name. He says he worries police might "shoot us." The plainclothes officer says Brown "got what he had coming."

A department spokesman says Superintendent Garry McCarthy ordered the probe last week after seeing the video, but won't identify the officer. It is unclear when the incident took place.

Brown, an unarmed, black 18-year-old, was fatally shot by a white officer. A grand jury decided not to indict the officer.
