Macomb Shop Embracing Board Game Resurgence

The Internet has changed the way we play games. From Candy Crush on your cellphone to Call of Duty on your Xbox, gaming has become an impersonal hobby with little to no face time. One store on Macomb’s square is bucking this trend with board games.  IPR’s Johnny Cather has the story.

Johnny graduated from Wheaton North High School in 2011. He began studying broadcasting at the College of Dupage after high school and transferred to Western Illinois University in 2013, and plans to graduate next spring. Johnny has worked for WGEM in Quincy as a sports photographer, as well as WIU’s News3 as an anchor and reporter. Johnny enjoys watching and playing hockey (Go Blackhawks!), movies, and hanging out with friends and family.
