Netherlands' royal couple to visit Chicago

  King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Kingdom of the Netherlands will visit a Chicago next week as part of their visit to the United States this week. The royal couple is scheduled to arrive in Chicago on Tuesday. On Wednesday they are to visit Gwendolyn Brooks College Preparatory Academy. Two student ambassadors will guide them through a school tour. The royals also will visit the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and Northwestern University's Medical Research Center. Willem-Alexander and Maxima will visit the U.S. from Sunday through Wednesday to thank the nation for its role in ending World War II, to commemorate the fallen and commend the strong economic, cultural and political ties between the two countries. The couple will also visit Washington, D.C. and Grand Rapids, Michigan.
