The Barack Obama Foundation to announce home of presidential library

The stage is set, the Barack Obama Foundation is scheduled to be in Chicago tomorrow to announce the home of the presidential library.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel doesn’t want to give anything away, but says the library would bring lots of jobs to Chicago.

“I think it’s a unique opportunity that will economically, as well as culturally and educationally, pay a dividend for the city of Chicago on the South, or whatever neighborhood he picks, for years to come.”

Multiple news outlets have reported the Obama Foundation will choose the University of Chicago as its partner for the library.  But whether it will be built in Washington Park or Jackson Park hasn’t been made public.
