Manufacturers bring more plug-In cars to the market

When the North American Auto Show opened this week in Detroit, there was a renewed emphasis on electric vehicles. Chevrolet introduced the next generation Volt and a new smaller plug-in electric called the Bolt. The Lemont-based Argonne National Lab’s Center for Transportation Research is working to improve battery technology.
