ISU Demonstrators Object To Ferguson Incident

Protesters on the ISU campus say police Monday kill African Americans at nearly the same level as the Jim Crow era lynchings.

Professor of Special Education April Mustian says young black males have 21 times greater risk to be shot dead by police than their white counterparts. But, that's not the only important figure:
"The second number is 185. That's the number of white males that would have to have been killed over the past three years in order for white males to be at equal risk."

The protesters called for an end to police brutality and racism.
