Deere and Company is releasing its year-end earnings report Wednesday. Its fiscal year ends in October and results are issued the day before Thanksgiving.
In August, the company predicted full-year sales would drop about 6 percent compared to the previous year, and that net income would come in at 3.1 billion dollars.
Yahoo Finance reports the average prediction from analysts who follow the company is for full year revenue of nearly 33 billion dollars, down 6 percent from last year. And earnings per share are forecast at 8-dollars and 35-cents - compared to 9-dollars and 9-cents a year ago.
Analysts cited by Bloomberg BusinessWeek are making very similar predictions, a penny higher for earnings per share, and higher annual revenue by 300 million dollars.
