Davis Easily Wins Over Callis In U.S. House Race

13th District Congressman Rodney Davis retained his seat with a comfortable win over Democratic challenger Ann Callis. Davis says GOP expansion in the House and taking control of the Senate will change the dynamic in Washington.

"We have 284 bills that we passed, many of them in a bipartisan way, including my "Hire More Heroes" Act that are sitting in the Senate. We now have the opportunity to send those huge bipartisan bills to the President's desk, " said Davis.
Davis says Congressional action will likely force President Obama to say why he wants to sign or veto those bills.

Republicans picked up two other Illinois congressional seats. State Representative Mike Bost unseated Democratic Congressman Bill Enyart in southern Illinois. And former Congressman Bob Dold regained his seat in a rematch against U.S. Representative Brad Schneider in Northeastern Illinois.
