Vertical farming: lofty vision, uncertain future

Cities throughout the Midwest are full of foodies looking for local food. Farmers in surrounding areas are making inroads in urban markets, but many producers are also trying to grow more food IN urban centers. And as city real estate moguls have known for years, in the densely packed urban core, you’ll find more space going up rather than spreading out. Harvest Public Media’s Peter Gray reports on vertical farming.
