The effects of crop insurance in 2012 drought

Drought hit Illinois farmers hard last year. Many of those farmers had federally subsidized crop insurance that helped them cope. Illinois Public Radio’s Scott Stuntz spoke to a professor who analyzed the data from last year, to see how much those policies actually helped farmers.
