The celebrating went late into the night in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood after the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup.
“This is the greatest moment of my life! Yyyyyyyeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhh!”
Kelly Brennan was in the middle of the crowd that closed down Clark Street. There, guardrails lining the sidewalks had been pushed down outside Wrigley Field.
“People were taking guard rails and body surfing on them down Clark Street.”
More celebrating is scheduled to continue later this week when the Blackhawks have their parade through downtown Chicago.
