The 100th anniversary of the completion of the dam that spans the Mississippi River between Keokuk and Hamilton will be celebrated this weekend. Thousands are expected to attend in the four-day event… which begins Thursday. Illinois Public Radio’s Jason Parrott will prepare us for it with his series: Damming the Mighty Mississippi.
