On this week’s Out and About during Jazz Appreciation Month, Dr. Mae Gilliland Wright of ArtsPartners of Central Illinois talks with Dr. Todd Kelly and Jim Kidder about the Stan Kenton Legacy Orchestra, performing this Sunday, April 16 at 3 p.m. at the Dingeldine Music Center.
Honoring the celebrated jazz artist and educator, the Stan Kenton Legacy Orchestra is brought to Peoria by Kidder Music in conjunction with Bradley University. Opening the concert will be the Bradley University Jazz Ensemble.
Tickets are $20 adult/$10 students if purchased in advance at Kidder Music (7728 N Crestline Dr, Peoria), or $25 adult/$10 students at the door.
