On this week's episode of Out and About David Commanday, artistic director of the Heartland Festival Orchestra, joins WCBU's Jody Holtz in the studio to talk about the HFO's upcoming concert, 'West Side Stories'.

The HFO will be joined with the with the world-class Harlem Quartet, known for crossing freely among Classical, Jazz, Latin, and Contemporary musics. All those threads weave through the entire program – with the West Side Story Concerto, Gershwin’s Cuban Overture and William Grant Still’s Afro American Symphony. This is a concert of sizzle, heart, and soul.
The concert takes place on Saturday, February 4th at 7:30pm at Five Points Washington, and benefits Soulside Healing Arts.
