On this week’s episode of Out and About, Jenn Gordon talks with Wendy Thomasson and Ian Thatcher from the Peoria Ballet about their spring production of "Coppelia." This classic ballet is widely considered one of the greatest comic ballets ever staged. It follows the tale of a dancing doll created by the mysterious inventor Dr. Coppelius and is based on a story by E.T.A. Hoffmann. New sets and costumes compliment the cast of 50 students performing alongside Ian Thatcher, who will play the role of Dr. Coppelius. Performances will take place on April 9 and 10 at Five Points Washington.
