The HFO Presents: “The Emperor And The Italian” With Pianist Christopher Taylor

On this week’s episode of Out and About, Artistic Director of the Heartland Festival Orchestra David Commanday joins Jenn Gordon to talk about Beethoven’s incomparable 5^th Piano Concerto (“The Emperor”) and Mendelssohn’s brilliant 4^th Symphony (“The Italian”). The concert will take place at Five Points Washington on Saturday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m. and will also feature guest artist Christopher Taylor at the Steinway, performing Beethoven’s masterful concerto.
