On this week’s episode of Out and About, William Butler joins Jenn Gordon to talk about the two current exhibits up at the Contemporary Art Center Guns in America and Making Faces at the World.
Jeff Corwin’s conflicted feelings over finding his father’s gun collection and his convictions about gun control, fueled eighteen highly charged photographs in the exhibit Guns in America. By contrast, Richard Wehrs has spent 35 years feeding his fascination to convey exaggerated facial expressions in ceramic sculpture. Each of Richard’s creations have a hilarious tale to tell in the exhibit Making Faces at the World.
Both exhibits remain open through April 17. For more information visit: Contemporary Art Center of Peoria
