China Harasses Women
Organizers of an international womens forum near Beijing today called an emergency meeting with Chinese officials. They demanded that Chinese security forces stop harassing delegates and preventing free access to forum sites. Organizers say if offiicals don't ease up on security by noon tomorrow the forum could be ended early. NPR's Mary Kay Magstead reports from the conference.
