  • - Daniel talks with Harvard professor Howard Gardner about his theories of multiple intelligences. Included among them is what he terms "athletic" or "bodily kinesthetic" intelligence. He says that this kind of intelligence is just as "smart" as the intelligence of a surgeon. Gardner also says that athletes combine athletic intelligence with other kinds of intelligence such as musical, spacial, and personal intelligence.
