Multiple Firearms Stolen in Downtown Peoria Gun Store Burglary

Peoria Police are looking for a suspect in an early Wednesday burglary at a downtown gun store.

Police responded to an alarm at Pinnacle Guns and Ammo, 701 Main, around 5:20 a.m. Police found broken glass and other evidence of a burglary.

Police say a man caught in a surveillance photo took multiple firearms from the store, including long guns and ammo.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Police urge citizens to call 911 and to not attempt to apprehend the man themselves.

UPDATE 7/8/21: Police say they now have a suspect in custody.
