The HFO will be joined with the with the world-class Harlem Quartet, known for crossing freely among Classical, Jazz, Latin, and Contemporary musics. All those threads weave through the entire program – with the West Side Story Concerto, Gershwin’s Cuban Overture and William Grant Still’s Afro American Symphony. This is a concert of sizzle, heart, and soul.

The concert takes place on Saturday, February 4th at 7:30pm at Five Points Washington, and benefits Soulside Healing Arts.

For tickets and more information, visit the HFO's website.

Jody Holtz is WCBU's assistant program and development director, All Things Considered host, as well as the producer of WCBU’s arts and culture podcast Out and About.
