On Deck - Friday, November 20, 2020

WCBU's On Deck has everything you need to know to start your day for Friday, November 20, 2020. Our top story is about how starting today, Governor J.B. Pritzker's Tier-3 mitigations take effect in an effort to control the spread of COVID-19. Accordingly, several entities around Peoria are once again rethinking and adjusting the way they operate. You'll also hear from the leader and frontwoman of the Peoria based rock band Tina Sparkle, Marsha Satterfield. The name of their first album in nine years - Southern Hospitality - is a reference to the frequent visits she would make to her wife's hometown of Nashville.

Daniel joined WCBU with eight years of experience in public radio, primarily in operations and engineering. He is also an accomplished DJ, with over 20 years of experience at night clubs and special events including the world-renowned John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the U.S. State Department, the White House, and the 2013 Commander in Chief Inaugural Ball.
