A Forsyth man is dead after a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 155 near Tremont.
The Illinois State Police said Steven Richards, 48, was headed south on the interstate around 5 p.m. Thursday when his truck veered off the roadway, across the median, and overturned in the northbound lanes.
Richards was ejected from his vehicle.
I-155 was closed until about 7:30 p.m.
The cause of the accident isn't clear. It remains under investigation.
