The Illinois State Police is investigating the death of a woman in the Tazewell County Jail.
Tazewell County Sheriff Jeff Lower said 41-year-old Sarah Seybold was found unresponsive in a cell around 8:15 Sunday night.
She died at Pekin Hospital.
She was arrested that morning by East Peoria police on drug charges.
The Tazewell County Coroner's Office is assisting in the investigation.
