The Sears at Northwoods Mall in Peoria is closing.
Ninety-six Sears and Kmart stores across the country are closing as part of a recent $250 million infusion of new capital into the struggling retailer.
Going-out-of-business sales will start Dec. 2. This leaves Sears Holdings with just 182 stores open nationwide.
