Bradley Professor Picked To Fill County Board Vacancy

Dr. Eden S. Blair

A Bradley University professor is set to be appointed to fill a vacancy on the Peoria County Board.

Dr. Eden Blair is set to fill the seat in District 6 after Democrat G. Allen Mayer stepped down on May 15.

Blair is an associate professor of entrepreneurship at Bradley. She also serves as a board member for Grafelman Farms Rescue and on the advisory board for TerraCarbon LLC. She is also the former chair of the Advisory Council for the Peoria County GAP Loan Program.

District 6 covers much of Central Peoria.
