Peoria County Mailing New Voter Registration Cards

Creative Commons

Peoria County voters can expect new voter registration cards in the mail.

The Peoria County Election Commission says this week’s mailing is federally required and helps to maintain accurate records.

Officials are asking voters to review the new cards closely. Information on how to update misspelled names and other errors is on the card. The election commission says residents with name changes and/or new addresses must re-register to vote.

Voters are not required to show the cards at polling stations. They are strictly informational.

Residents with questions can contact the Peoria County Election Commission at 309-324-2300.
