Peoria Man Arrested on Bloomington Murder Charges

Bloomington Police Department

A Peoria man is one of two people arrested in connection with a Bloomington gun death last October. 27-year old Trevonte Kirkwood of Bloomington died after someone shot him in the back October 30th on North Oak Street in Bloomington.

Police say they have now arrested 21-year old Quentin Jackson of Peoria and  19-year old Jordyn Thornton of Bloomington for the killing.

A U.S. Marshal's Task Force arrested Jackson at his residence. Thornton was already in jail on other charges.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and they would appreciate public help in the matter.

Jackson is being held on a million dollars bond in the McLean County Jail, and Thornton $1.5 million.
