Bradley University President Gary Roberts is retiring next year. In a letter to faculty and staff this morning Roberts says he has informed the Bradley’s Board of Trustees of his intention to retire at the end of his contract next May.
Roberts says he’s proud of what he’s been able to accomplish at his alma mater, including designing and implementing a new strategic plan, launching a faculty salary initiative, and seeing through Phase 1 of the new Business and Engineering Convergence Center.
Roberts’ administration also led the effort to outsource the management of Peoria Public Radio. The public radio station in Bloomington Normal takes over daily operation of WCBU June 1st.
The Bradley Board of Trustees will form a presidential search committee and retain a search consultant to begin identifying Bradley’s next President this summer.
