High School Student Picks Eureka College Over Scores of Options

Eureka College

A Louisiana high school senior will begin classes at Eureka College later this year. This may not seem extraordinary, except Antoinette Love earned at least 115 other college acceptances and nearly $4-million in total scholarships as part of personal quest that went viral on social media.

The first-generation college student announced her final decision during a signing ceremony this morning. Love says Eureka College’s general education curriculum, small size and study abroad opportunities topped all other opportunities.

She has said she wants to study elementary education, but Love also enjoys environmental science, photography and painting.

Love attends the International High School of New Orleans, where she’s earned a 3.7 GPA.
