Flash flooding is a concern as more heavy rain moves across central Illinois. A flash flood watch remains in effect through this evening for the entire Peoria Public Radio listening area.
Forecasters say scattered showers and thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rain will linger throughout the day. Up to an inch of rain is possible.
The National Weather Service reports some rural roads in the region are closed due to high water.
