No injuries were reported after a United Airlines Express flight made an emergency landing in Bloomington Sunday night.
Flight 5228 landed around 7:30 at Central Illinois Regional Airport. The flight originated in Columbia, Missouri. It was headed to Chicago when it was diverted due to a reported mechanical issue.
52 people were on board the plane operated by United Express’s SkyWest airlines.
