WTVP is searching for a new President and CEO. A joint management agreement with WILL in Champaign Urbana includes Moss Bresnahan serving in that role for both stations.
He’s held the spot since the summer of 2014 when WTVP entered into the joint agreement with WILL. Bresnahan will remain as joint CEO until a new president is in place at WTVP.
The joint agreement will be dissolved at that point and Bresnahan is expected to remain the Chief Executive of WILL. The joint management contract was expected to offer financial efficiencies, even savings, but has not worked out that way.
The WTVP job posting says the station is looking for someone with executive management experience, fundraising and grant writing skills as well as familiarity with the community and respect for the mission of public broadcasting.
The post says public media experience is not required.
