A Peoria man is facing multiple gun charges following an early morning raid.
The Multi-County Narcotics Enforcement Group and Illinois State Police SWAT arrested 38-year-old Deray N. Jones around 6:30 Monday morning. He was taken into custody after agents served a search warrant in the 2200 block of University.
Officials say two handguns missing serial numbers and ammunition were confiscated.
Jones is charged with two counts of Possession of a Defaced Firearm and two counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
Jones was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
