The Peoria Public School District is hosting forums to discuss ideas for changing school start times.
A board of education special committee has explored the issue for a few months. The committee’s alternative proposals for school start times will be presented over the next two weeks during the following public forums:
Wednesday, February 27 at 6:00 p.m. in the Peoria High library.
Tuesday, March 5 at 6:00 p.m. in the Manual Academy library.
Thursday, March 7 at 6:00 p.m. in the Richwoods auditorium.
Public feedback on alternative school start times is encouraged during the forums.
Peoria Public School officials say an online survey will also be available to students, parents and staff in the near future.
