Wikimedia Commons

Indivisible Peoria Area, members supports and others are gathering today at the Federal Courthouse in downtown Peoria.

It’s part of a nationwide movement to mobilize other citizen protests against what they are calling ‘the fake national emergency declared by Pres Trump,’ Friday.

The Peoria group says the rally will ‘CALL OUT THE FAKE CRISIS & DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION.’

In addition to the Peoria protest, others throughout the state are planned in Champaign and Carbondale, Frankfort, Chicago, Crystal Lake, Mount Prospect, Libertyville and Naperville.

The event is scheduled for noon at the Federal Courthouse on Monroe street in downtown Peoria.
