Two young men police believe are adults were shot and killed over night.
Peoria Police say a shotspotter alert got them to the 200 block of East Virginia about 12:40 a.m. ShotSpotter indicated 4 rounds fired.
One victim was found on the ground next to a vehicle, in the 200 block of East Virginia. The unidentified male, believed to be an adult, was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced deceased.
The second victim, also believed to be an adult, was found inside of the vehicle at the same location. He also sustained life threatening injuries and died at the scene.
