Congressman Darin LaHood honored a fallen Tremont Marine with a moment of silence Thursday.
LaHood took the U.S. House of Representatives floor to honor Corporal Daniel Baker. Baker is one of five Marines declared dead after a plane accident off Japan’s southern coast last week.
LaHood represents Illinois House District 18 which includes Tremont.
