A large water main break is causing traffic delays on Peoria’s Knoxville Avenue. The break happened Wednesday near Frye Avenue. City officials say motorists should expect delays in the area between Frye and Nebraska.
Knoxville Avenue traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction in the affected area. The road had been shut down entirely earlier Wednesday. There is no word on how long it will take to repair the water main break.
