Caterpillar shareholders will receive their next quarterly dividend in November.
The board of directors voted Wednesday to maintain its $0.86 per share of common stock. The quarterly dividend is payable to shareholders of record at the close of business October 22, and will be issued November 20.
The Deerfield based company’s 2017 revenue and sales topped $45-billion. Caterpillar says it has paid quarterly shareholder dividends since 1933.
Caterpillar will announce its 3rd quarter results October 23.
