An East Peoria man has died following a home invasion earlier this month.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood says 44-year-old Jason T. Pownall died Wednesday at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.
Pownall and an unnamed 35-year-old woman were injured during a September 11 home invasion. East Peoria police were originally called to the 100 block of Albert Street just after 5:15 a.m. His autopsy revealed Pownall suffered blunt force head trauma.
There have been no arrests so far.
