Lydia Moss Bradley Statue Resting and Recovering

Repairs to Bradley University’s iconic Lydia Moss Bradley statue are expected to take about a month.

The statue was knocked off its base by a car during a Saturday night accident. Bradley University sculpture professor Fisher Stolz believes the damage is minimal upon initial inspection. The bronze Lydia Moss Bradley statue has graced the university’s Founder’s Circle since 1997.

The university is encouraging people to share well wishes for the statue on social media with the hashtag #GetWellSoonLydia.
