Peoria Police are investigating the death of 43 year-old Timothy Jackson.
Shot-Spotter reported multiple shots fired at 608 West Wilcox at 6:31 a.m. Thursday morning.
Jackson was found slumped over the wheel of his car in front of the residence. He was dead when emergency medical person removed him from the vehicle. Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood says Jackson was shot four times in the head, chest and torso.
Jackson lived at 2407 N. Dechman, in Peoria.
Peoria Police are also continuing to investigate a previous homicide from earlier this week. 22 year-old Malik Everett was shot at 245 Green Street in Taft Homes Sunday about 2:20 a.m. Police found him less than a block away. Surgical efforts to save his life failed, he died Wednesday afternoon. Everett lived at 1719 W. Kettelle Street in Peoria.
