Indictment Falls Against Teen in Double Homicide

 A grand jury has indicted the 16-year-old accused of killing two people at a house party near Bradley University April 8th.

 

The Grand Jury returned the 5-felony counts Tuesday. Jermontay Brock is charged as an adult with three counts of first degree murder, one count of aggravated battery and another of unlawful possession of a firearm.

 

He is the only person suspected the death of 22-year-old Anthony ‘AJ’Polnitz and 18-year-old Bradley University Student NasjayMurry. They were shot and killed at a crowded house party at Western and Bradley Avenues. A third female Bradley student was shot in the hand.

 

Jermontay Brock remains in custody at the juvenile detention center, held on $2 million bond. He makes his next appearance in court to hear the new charges Thursday morning.
