Classes at Carl Sandburg College Main Campus and the Annex are canceled Thursday. Both campuses are also closed until further notice.
The college reports receiving a threat Wednesday evening directed toward the Main Campus in Galesburg. Both campuses are shut down as a precaution.
A statement from the school says Sandburg Public Safety is cooperating with the Galesburg Police Department in investigating the threat.
But in the meantime, the statement says the school’s priority is the safety of its faculty, staff, students, and guests.
